At the forefront of our Acqua Nova (AN) Series offering, we have the most innovative CO2 ‘Water to Water’ Heat Pump – with modular designs to suit both low and high ambient climates. Idea for applications where hot water (45-90ºC) and large loads of chilled water for either air-conditioning and or other commercial applications and industrial processes is required. CO2 was one of our first ever refrigerants used by humans going back over 180 years. The revival came about in 1986, when the late Mr Gustav Lorentzen made ‘a call to market’ to return to using CO2. It has long been understood about the highly efficient thermo dynamic properties of CO2, but it has been more revered as of recent since the development of heat reclaim ‘water to water’ technology. This enables us to use the reclaimable heat from water to achieve much higher temperatures, more quickly and efficiently. Whilst also benefitting from the production of both hot and chilled water from one system.
